Automotive Capital Partners ("ACP") is composed of  automotive retail professionals with decades of experience operating dealerships and structuring dealership buy-sells. We seek the very best general managers to partner with to acquire dealerships.

 

ACP can provide the acquisition opportunities and capital to allow general managers to become partners from day one. Our partners will bring their operational expertise. Over time our partners can acquire 100% of the dealerships to create generational wealth for their families.

 

Our differentiated strategy drives long-term value for all key stakeholders in a dealership, including the owners, the customers and the OEMs (Win³).

Paul Walser

Paul Walser is a second-generation dealer and partner at Walser Automotive Group in Edina, Minnesota. He began his automotive career in 1974 selling cars at Town’s Edge Ford and went on to help grow one of the region’s most successful dealership groups. Paul served as the 2021 Chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association and represented Minnesota’s franchised new-car dealers on NADA’s board from 2014 to 2024. A past president of both the Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association and the Greater Metro Automobile Dealers Association of Minnesota, Paul is also dedicated to philanthropy through his work with the Walser Foundation and the Minnesota Keystone Program. He holds a business degree from Drake University and is widely recognized for his leadership in auto retail and community engagement.

Alan Haig is one of the most respected dealership M&A experts in auto retail and founder of Haig Partners, a leading advisory firm that helps owners of higher-value dealerships and dealership groups maximize the value of their businesses. He has been involved in the purchase or sale of 520 dealerships totaling over $10.5 billion and is the creator of The Haig Report®, the industry’s longest-published quarterly report on dealership valuations and market trends. Alan is the creator of the Haig Partners Maximizing Value Conference, held in conjunction with NADA and various national dealer meetings throughout the year. He is also a frequent speaker at AICPA, NADC, 20 groups, and other industry forums. He is regularly quoted in major media including Forbes, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, CNBC, BBC, Automotive News, and Car Dealership Guy. Alan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a BA from Dartmouth College.
